Hello and welcome to the Clay House Pots website.

I have been making pottery since I first set my hands in clay in college in the late 1980s. It was great to find clay as I had been searching for the artistic medium that felt right. What I really enjoy is being able to make beautiful, yet simple pots to enhance our daily lives. I love that clay is so forgiving and so malleable. Many times I've come up with new ideas based on prior projects that just didn't quite work.

I like to work by feel, and the creative process is very spontaneous much of the time. That spontaneity is what keeps me interested and keeps my work interesting. I hope you'll enjoy it too, have a look around.
